jontanner:

(not me, Joseph Beuys)
I’ve been pining after this book for a while now. I’ve always had a soft spot for Beuys.
Most of these watercolors are monochrome earth tones. But it works. More of a focus
on texture. And blood. Because Beuys didn’t fuck around about making his work personal.
Anyway, there’s this quote by him on the back. It says:
“There is an awful lot in them. So, for me they are an important element in my life.”
Not my art. Not my work. My Life.
