Honestly, Chicago duo Night Gallery has taken some time to grow on me. But after the lovely new record label Rainbow Body Records sent me over their forthcoming LP “Constant Struggle” I gave it a good week and can say it’s pretty awesome. Fully equipped with transport to the 80’s, but where amazing artists like Com Truise or Cosmic Sound bring the hard hitting synthed out electronics of the 80’s, Night Gallery keeps it a lot poppier, a lot lighter all in all.

“Constant Struggle” will be out on Rainbow Body Records next month on 12” vinyl (500) and cassette (100). You can pre-order the business right now.

I’ve been waiting for what seems like forever for this LP to come out. Tons of love for Night Gallery, Chris and Rainbow Body.

Whoa. This is an easy recommendation. The tracks they omitted from the original Send release are fantastic. Brainwashed has a tracklist.

“The More I See You” (OMD cover)

Just had one of those moments of weird inspiration and went with it. Be sure to check out the original if you haven’t heard it.

“It’s strange to think of something arriving, without warning, quite as perfectly formed as this. No label involvement, no svengali. A 5-track EP sitting there, for the world to download, perfectly judged artwork and all.”

Today I’m listening to rehearsal tapes in reverse and Einstürzende Neubauten.

Practice.

Pretty much obsessed today.
