Squarepusher “A Journey to Reedham (7.am Mix)”

There aren’t many songs that could top this.

What? My blog turned 3(!) last Sunday? That’s nuts. I doubt I would have lasted this long if the people I followed weren’t so amazing.
So to celebrate I installed a new theme (finally using my own design again). There’s still a few tweaks to be made and dealing with some of the new features Tumblr has introduced (you can ask me questions now), but it’s looking pretty good.
Anyway, thanks for reading and hanging with me for 3 years. Find yourself a bottle of Lost Abbey tonight and have a drink with me.

Thom Yorke/Atoms for Peace covering Love Will Tear Us Apart last night!

Happy to say I was there losing it. Wow.

Autechre “Clipper”

My feel good song of the month. Not only is it a killer track, Clipper also contains one of my favorite bass lines starting around 1:45. Amazing.

This should be Skeletal System’s new band photo!

OMD “Of All the Things We’ve Made”

Basically Dazzle Ships has been forced upon me and I really don’t have anything to complain about. This song is destroying me, as did Silent Running and Time Zones…Telegraph is a bit much for me, but I suspect I’ll come around.

yvynyl:

Andy Peterson, half of San Francisco’s duo Skeletal System sent me a nice email with a link to their free 5-song EP on Bandcamp. Been listening to it the whole way through this morning, and it’s great. Slow but rich, muted but textured, dark but dreamy electro with hints of New Order and Galaxie 500. Dig it.

Thanks yvynyl!
